Xiaomi will unveil the Redmi K60 series in China on December 27, the company stated on Weibo. On the back, at least one of the variants of the series will feature a triple camera setup, which includes Redmi’s first periscope shooter on a smartphone. The company also shared the first look at the Redmi K60 series.

Redmi’s Weibo page also confirmed that the performance of this series is now strong enough for mobile gaming and that there is no need for a special gaming variant.

It seems like both MediaTek and Qualcomm will be powering the upcoming series. The Dimensity 8200 will likely be powering the vanilla variant (SE) of the series. While the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro might be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, respectively.
