Gamers using the Xbox Game Pass on not just PC but also on mobile devices will now be getting access to Riot Games catalog. This is not the first time that Microsoft has extended its Game Pass to mobile games.
To be clear, it is the first time that the Xbox Game Pass specifically ventures into mobile games, but in general, the business has already delved into certain AAA titles in the past. With Xbox Game Pass, gamers will be able to use the Xbox Game Pass to download some of the most popular titles as of press time and play them on their mobile device.
According to a story by XDA-developers, the titles by Riot Games will be free to play and even include some of the popular games as of press time. Game Pass subscribers will only have to pay their subscription in order to gain access to the content.
PC gamers will be able to gain access to both “League of Legends” and “Valorant.” When it comes to mobile games, players will be able to “enjoy bonus content” when it comes to “League of Legends: Wild Rift” giving players access to both “Legends of Runeterra” as well as “Teamfight Tactics.”
Mobile players will basically be able to access all champions unlocked on “League of Legends: Wild Rift,” unlocked foundation sets on “Legends of Runeterra,” and selected little legends unlocked on “Teamfight Tactics.” Both “Legends of Runeterra” and “Teamfight Tactics” are also available to PC users.
Sadly, a console port isn’t part of the games and players will have to find a solution on their own. Although a video announcement was made on YouTube, it is still unknown when Riot Games titles will be available on the Xbox Game Pass.
Xbox, however, says that the availability of the games could happen within the next 12 months. No confirmation or clarification was given as to whether the games will be available this year or if gamers will have to wait until 2023 until the titles will be available to gamers.

As per XDA-Developers, this is not the first time that Xbox has tried to release mobile titles along with its packages. Xbox Cloud Gaming already offers access to some of the most popular AAA titles that can be played on the gamer’s mobile device.
Xbox Wire announced that they will be explaining more details on when Riot Games will be available on the Xbox Game Pass. A slide seen at the end of the show noted that the addition of Riot Games might not happen until the end of 2023.
