As more Americans get ready to travel this summer, T-Mobile is ramping up perks for its current customers and perhaps hoping to attract new ones.
The wireless carrier will offer customers 25 cents off a gallon of gas at Shell stations this summer and free connectivity and streaming on flights.
Additionally T-Mobile is giving customers access to high-speed data in more than 210 countries.
“Our mission is to be the best in the world at connecting customers to their world, and that means making sure your phone just works wherever you go – even if you travel beyond our signal,” T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert said in a statement.
The new perks are available starting June 21.

T-Mobile is also allowing customers to stay connected on phones during flights, initially launching on Delta, American and Alaskan Airlines flights, with United coming soon. Users can not only connect to their phones, but have full access to streaming. It will not support video or audio cal
The service is unlimited for customers on Magenta Max or equivalent plans. On Magenta or similar plans, T-Mobile customers will be able to use the perk on four flights per year, then for one hour on every flight after that.
The gas discount will be available to all customers through the carrier’s T-Mobile Tuesdays app every week from June 21 through the week of Labor Day.
T-Mobile isn’t the only carrier one with incentives to keep customers and bring in new ones.
On Thursday, Verizon announced it is offering its wireless customers home broadband plans starting at $25. The deal for new customers requires signing up for autopay and having a premium 5G mobile plan.
