Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 12 series in India on January 5, 2023. The India launch will witness the debut of the Redmi Note 12 Pro, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, and the Redmi Note 12 5G in India.

The Redmi Note 12 5G will be sold through Amazon, while the Redmi Note 12 Pro and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will be available on Flipkart. Amazon has teased some key specifications of the vanilla variant, like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, a 48 MP primary camera, and others.

Amazon has revealed that the upcoming Redmi Note 12 5G’s Indian variant will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset. The Redmi Note 12 5G will have an AMOLED display with a punch-hole notch in the centre for selfies. It is also confirmed to feature a 48 MP primary camera. The smartphone will come with support for 33 W fast charging and is expected to pack a 5,000 mAh battery.
Other than these features, the China variant of the device was seen sporting an 8 MP selfie camera.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 12 series in China in October, which included an Explorer Edition, a Redmi Note 12 Pro, a Redmi Note 12 Pro+, and a Redmi Note 12 5G. Today, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition, fifth device in Xiaomi’s Note 12 series has also launched in China.
