Realme on Monday launched the Realme 10 smartphone in India. This is a budget 4G device which draws power from an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The new smartphone comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, 33 W SuperVOOC fast charging, 50 MP primary camera sensor, and up to 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM with support for up to 8 GB Dynamic RAM.
The Realme 10 is available in two RAM/ storage variants. The base model with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB onboard storage is priced at Rs 13,999 and the high-end model with 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage costs Rs 16,999. It will go on sale in India via Flipkart and Realme India site from January 15 at 12 noon. The company will offer a special discount of Rs 1,000 discount during the first sale. It will come in Clash White and Rush Black colours.
The Realme 10 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, 360 Hz touch sampling rate, and 1,000 nits peak brightness. The device also sports Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. The Realme 10 comes with MediaTek Helio G99 processor, paired with up to 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128 GB UFS 2.2 storage that can be expanded up to 1 TB via microSD card.
This smartphone features a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 50 MP main camera and another 2 MP sensor. There is a 16 MP selfie camera on the front, placed in the top-left corner of the screen. The phone comes with several camera features, such as ProLight Imaging technology and Flash Night View algorithm for night photography. The Realme 10 sports a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33 W SuperVOOC fast charging. It is claimed to charge the device up to 50 per cent within 28 minutes. This smartphone is 7.95 mm thin and weighs about 178 grams.
The new Realme 10 is part of the brand’s Realme 10 series, which already included the Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro+ smartphones. Both of these Pro models are 5G-enabled. The Realme 10 Pro 5G starts at Rs 18,999 and comes with Snapdragon 695 processor, 108 MP primary camera, 33 W SuperVOOC fast charging, 120 Hz screen, and 5,000 mAh battery. The Realme 10 Pro+ 5G starts at Rs 24,999 and comes with almost the same specifications as the Pro model with some exceptions. It features Dimensity 1080 processor and sports 120 Hz screen with curved edges.
