Realme will reportedly unveil its “leapfrog” fast charging technology on January 5, 2023. Realme has shared a poster on Weibo, announcing an event in China to unveil its leapfrog technology, which is likely the 240 W charging solution that will come with the Realme GT Neo 5.

Realme’s GT Neo5 is expected to be available in two versions, including a vanilla variant that will pack a 5000 mAh battery and come with 150 W of support for wired flash charging and the top variant, which will pack a smaller 4600 mAh battery with 240 W of support for wired flash charging.
The Realme GT Neo5’s release date is still unknown, however, it is likely to arrive in the near future.
In other news, Realme is also getting ready to launch the Realme 10 in India. The company announced that it will introduce the mid-range smartphone in India by teasing it on Twitter, but did not reveal the handset’s release date. Realme also has a special page for its upcoming smartphone on its official website.
The global variant of the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It features a 6.6-inch full HD+ display and comes packed with a 5,000 mAh battery.

The phone is available in (8+128) GB and (8+256) GB versions. The handset features a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor, a 2 MP macro camera, and an AI lens. For selfies, the phone sports an 8 MP camera sensor on the front.
The handset featured a fingerprint scanner on the side, a 3.5mm jack, a USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, dual SIM slots, built-in GPS, and a microSD card slot.
Realme earlier launched the Realme 10 Pro 5G series in India. The lineup includes the Realme 10 Pro 5G and the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G smartphones. Both the phones feature up to 8 GB RAM, 120 Hz screen, 108 MP primary camera, and 5,000 mAh battery.
