Oppo introduced the Reno 9 series in China in November 2022; however, the company is reportedly skipping the Reno 9 series in India and will instead directly launch the Oppo Reno 10 series in the country. These claims come from tipster Sudhanshu (via 91mobiles).
The series is expected to arrive in the first or second week of February and will likely include the Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro. It might also have another model.
The Reno 10 series might be a rebranded Reno 9 series or come with a completely new set of smartphones with all new specs. The details and specifics of the Reno 10 series are also unclear at the moment.
According to reports, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ will come with a flat-screen display and a redesigned camera island. It could include a triple camera configuration with a telephoto lens. The Reno 10 Pro+, like the Reno 8 Pro, is expected to have a Marisilicon NPU.
It will most likely have a 120 Hz refresh rate display and at least an FHD+ screen. It is expected to have a larger battery and support for fast charging. The Reno 10 Pro+ and other devices in the lineup will ship with Android 13 and ColorOS 13 on top.
The Oppo Reno 9 series, including the Oppo Reno 9, Oppo Reno 9 Pro, and Oppo Reno 9 Pro+, launched in China in November last month. The Reno 9 and 9 Pro were powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G and MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chipsets, respectively.
On the other hand, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip powers the Oppo Reno 9 Pro+ variant. Furthermore, all three devices run on Android 13-based ColorOS 13 out of the box.
