Xiaomi is all set to launch its latest flagship device, the Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G, in India. A poster shared by the company also reveals that the smartphone will be launched on April 12 at 12:00 pm. The smartphone is part of the Xiaomi 12 series, which the company had launched in China in December last year. Besides the Xiaomi 12 Pro, the series also includes the Xiaomi 12X and the vanilla Xiaomi 12. However, there’s no information about their India launch yet. The Xiaomi 12 Pro, meanwhile, was launched in China at CNY 4,699 (approx Rs 55,100) for the 8 GB + 128 GB variant. The other two variants, 8 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB, are priced CNY 4,999 (approx Rs 58,600) and CNY 5,399 (approx Rs 63,300) respectively.

Xiaomi 12 Pro: Specifications

The Xiaomi 12 Pro is the higher-end model of the Xiaomi 12 series. Here are the specifications of the device as seen in the Chinese variant.
It sports a 6.73-inch WQHD+ E5 AMOLED display with a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate. It also has a peak brightness of 1,500 nits.
The phone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and houses a triple rear camera setup.
It includes a 50 MP primary Sony IMX707 sensor, a 50 MP portrait sensor and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, it houses a 32 MP selfie camera, like the other two models.
It also comes with a four-unit speaker system and houses a 4,600 mAh battery that supports 120W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The phones support 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port.
