Realme has launched the latest addition to its V-series in China as a budget 5G smartphone whichis priced at less than Rs. 12,000! This latest smartphone has been added to the company’s China-exclusive lineup. The phone is the Realme V20 5G, which was silently announced in China and aimed at the offline markets considering its unavailability for online purchase. Rolled out at an affordable price, it packs some interesting specs to consider such as a 6.5-inch display, a large 5000mAh battery, and more. The Realme V20 was launched at an affordable price of CNY 999 in China, which translates roughly to Rs. 11,600. Unfortunately, the budget smartphone is unlikely to arrive in other markets as the Realme has never launched V-series phones outside of China. The Realme V20 comes in two colour options of Ink Cloud Black and Star Blue colours.
The Realme V20 5G, which has been launched as a budget phone, features a 6.5-inch HD LCD with a teardrop notch. It offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The Realme V20 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of memory. In the front, it features a 5MP camera on the front for the purpose of selfies and video calls. While, on its rear panel, you will find a dual-camera setup which flaunts a 13MP primary camera coupled with a 0.3-megapixel secondary lens.
Though, it is unclear whether Realme V20 runs on Android 12 or Android 11, as the phone is not listed online in China. Though, it packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports a 10W charging. The good part is you get a 3.5mm audio jack on the Realme V20 5G, which weighs around 184 grams and measures 8.1mm in thickness. Unfortunately, it lacks the fingerprint sensor to unlock the device.
