Apple Phone 15 launch date is likely to be during the Fall of 2023. However, in case there are production issues again next year, then the launch ,may well get delayed. In fact, analysts are already speculating that the iPhone 14 launch date will be postponed due to production issues in China over Covid lockdowns.
Apart from iPhone 15 release date, a number or reports have indicated what may be packed into the smartphone. So, from charging support, camera to chipset, check out all the speculations and rumours, we have heard so far:

Popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that we could see a USB-C iPhone 15 in 2023. The speculation has also been backed by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman with sources revealing that Apple is already testing USB-C for coming iPhone models. He added that the tech giant is also working on a Lightning/USB-C adapter to ensure backward compatibility for those who already own Lightning accessories.
Apple has been working on its own 5G modem chip for a few years and now many reports expect it to arrive soon. Though, it’s too early to predict how Apple’s own 5G modem chip would be beneficial over the Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 chips that Apple currently uses. But, it’s likely to save Apple a ton of money, and add other improvements.
Another rumour that’s been making the rounds is the new periscope lens technology that Apple is working on. Analysts have suggested a 2023 timeline for the arrival of the new camera technology. Apple is a bit late to bring the periscope lens as Android smartphones already have it. However, this would allow the iPhone to make better use of the 48-megapixel (MP) primary camera expected to come on the iPhone 14 this year.
It’s almost certain that Apple will be killing its 5.4-inch iPhone mini model this year with the iPhone 14 series and replacing it with a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max model. Hence, the same is expected to be applied for iPhone 15 series as well. Additionally, the tech giant could eliminate the front-screen cut-outs by shifting to in-display Face ID in iPhone 15 Pro.
