Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 14 series in September, but there has been much speculation regarding its many game-changing features. In fact, iPhone 14 has been trending fr quite a while on the internet now. The phone is expected to come with some outstanding features with better usar experience. Though the iPhones have always been considered as premium phones, users have been complaining of poor battery life. It is one of the most common complaints among iPhone owners as most individuals carry their handsets with them everywhere they go, and a low battery bar can be aggravating.
A new report by the Economic Daily News suggests that the iPhone 14 will offer better battery life than the previous models because of a new 5G chipset. As per the report, TSMC has received all orders for Apple’s 5G radio frequency or RF chips for this year’s flagship iPhone models. These new chips are expected to be manufactured by utilizing TSMC’s 6nm technology which can result in a physically smaller chip with lower power consumption.
Hence, the smaller CPU would leave up room in the iPhone 14 for other factors including a bigger battery. The iPhone 14’s modem is also expected to have support for Wi-Fi 6E, as well as iPhone 12, and iPhone 13 series handsets with Wi-Fi 6.
Additionally, the iPhone 14 is also expected to offer storage capacity of upto 2 GB. Last year, Apple released iPhone 13 Pro variants with storage capacities of up to 1 TB. This year, Apple is likely to use QLC flash storage, which will raise capacity to 2 TB owing to the latest storage technology. Moreover, the device is likely to feature a 1/1.3-inch 48MP CMOS image sensor for wide-angle camera module responsibilities, according to renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Kuo said in its blog post, “We anticipate the next 2022 iPhone may enable direct 48MP output and 12MP (four cells merging output mode) output concurrently.”
While the speculation is making headlines, nothing has been confirmed officially. Last year, a rumor circulated before the launch of iPhone 13 series that the smartphone will feature the newest Wi-Fi 6E technology, however, that did not happen.
