Battlefield Mobile is now LIVE on Google Play Store! But hang on, it is now yet available for everyone to download. After almost a year since Electronic Arts announced bringing the Battlefield experience to mobile platforms, the game is now ready for players on Android to try out. However, it is still in the early stages of testing and is yet to reach it beta phase. The current listing is available for the closed alpha testing of the game.
Battlefield is now listed on Google Play under the “Coming soon” category. The game is available for everyone to pre-register, but only a fe wlucky ones will get to test it this early in its development phase. If all goes well, we could see Battlefield Mobile coming in as another superb alternative to games such as Call of Duty: Mobile, Garena Free Fire Max, BGMI, and PUBG New State.
“Android players! We’re preparing our next #BFMobile Closed Alpha Test later this month. This regional test for India will help optimize the game’s core experience for bigger tests & launch. Space is limited. Pre-Register for an opportunity to join the test,” says developer Industrial Toys.
EA lists Battlefield Mobile as an FPS shooter similar to the PC and console versions. “The Battlefield franchise has arrived on mobile with all your favorite FPS combat, superior teamplay, and genre-defining destruction – now more thrilling than ever,” says EA on Google Play.
The game will allow you to squad up with your crew and assault enemies on several maps as well as different gameplay modes. Players will be able to build their custom weapon loadouts and gadgets. The game will also include vehicles from the PC version, such as ATVs and tanks. Players can also experience large scale environmental destruction, similar to Battlefield 2042.
“Outrun a collapsing tower on your ATV, parachute off a building while firing a rocket launcher, or bury your enemies under the rubble of a building you destroyed with your tank,” says EA.
The game also offers Call of Duty: Mobile style operator modes. You can choose you class from these – Assault, Support, Medic, or Recon. Additionally, there are couple of modes available for players right from the get-go.
The TACTICAL mode will let you go on foot for tactical agility, while DESTROY will let you commandeer an ATV for explosive speed. STEALTH mode will let you do the kills with melee weapons while WAR TANKS will let you conduct a shock-and-awe campaign in an armoured tank. Lastly, there is a SANDBOX mode that lets you fight in your own rules across land, sea and air.
It is simple. Open Google Play store on your Android device and search for “Battlefield Mobile”. Once you spot, open and click on “Pre-register”. If you are lucky, you will be able to download it once the alpha testing begins. You can enable auto-download to let the game install as soon as it goes live (you will need a Wi-Fi connection).
Note: Electronic Arts says that it can retire the online services after 30 days. Hence, this is a limited testing for the game. EA is yet to reveal an official timeline for the same.
EA has released the minimum system requirements for Battlefield Mobile on Android devices.
– Android 7.0 or higher
– At least 3GB RAM
– At least Exynos 8 Octa (8890) / Snapdragon 660 chip
