The company will launch it as an entry-level phone with the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset. The next phone is basically the 5G version of the Realme 9i, which launched earlier this year. Apart from the launch announcement, the company also shared the key specifications of the Realme 9i 5G.
Be aware that the Realme 9 series in India already includes the Realme 9, Realme 9 5G, Realme 9 5G Speed Edition, Realme 9 Pro 5G, Realme 9 Pro+ 5G and Realme 9i 4G.

Realme said the 9i 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset, which has become quite common for entry-level 5G phones. The company has used the Dimensity 810 chipset before. The company said the Realme 9i 5G will come with a brilliant design, bigger battery and AI triple camera setup.

According to the 91Mobiles report, the phone is available in three color options: blue, gold and black. Meanwhile, interested buyers will have three storage options to choose from, 4GB RAM/64GB storage, 4GB RAM/128GB storage, and 6GB RAM/128GB storage. The next Realme 5G handset could be a sub-Rs 15,000 5G smartphone, which the CEO of the company previously said.
The rest of the Realme 9i 5G specifications have yet to be revealed. It’s likely that Realme will share a feature or two on the phone in the coming days. As for the 4G version, which is simply called Realme 9i, the specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. Realme 9i comes with a 6.6-inch FullHD LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. You can expand the Realme 9i’s storage up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone packs three cameras on the back, including a 50-megapixel main camera with PDAF, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera.
